Focused on oil painting and drawing with the underlying principles of color field traditions, working on canvas and wood. While constructing an independent approach Jozef's work has also been influenced by those artists of which he worked with during his formative years, including; Maureen Gallace, Alfred Blaustein, and Roselee Goldberg.
Jozef obtained his BFA in Studio Art from New York University and studied at Pratt Institute in the Classical Foundation Program. His work has been presented in group and student exhibitions, including: The Grey Art Museum at NYU, The West Chelsea Building, and Johns Hopkins University. It has also been acquired by individual, family office, and corporate commissions.
