Mary Ann Sedivy

Artist Mary Ann Sedivy’s passion is painting the landscape in both the plein air fashion and through abstraction. Mary Ann has her degree in Fine Arts and Art Education from Hiram College.  She is an art educator at Notre Dame Cathedral Latin High School where she is department chair and teaches beginning, intermediate and advanced art courses.

 

Mary Ann’s painting career has spanned 40 years during which she has exhibited in Ohio in numerous juried exhibitions and has had several solo shows. Currently, her work is represented at The Artisan’s Corner Gallery in Newbury, Ohio and MCGallery in South Russel, Ohio. In conjunction with the Ohio Arts Council she has had two works on display in Governor Kasich’s offices in Columbus, Ohio. Mary Ann’s work is also in private collections, most notably in that of television personality Patricia Heaton’s of Everybody Loves Raymond and The Middle and of local singer-songwriter Alex Bevan.
