Artist Statement

I find it somewhat trying, perhaps entirely undesirable, to write about my work, I belong to no school, no classification, no philosophy. I have no system of painting other than to say that which is in me (whatever that may be) and to paint that which I feel strongly about, that which has meaning for me. If I had wnted to engage in art analysis I would have become an art critic, and if I had wanted to theorize about art I would have become a philosopher.
